Based on the southern edge of the beautiful English Lake District, we are a dedicated couple of outdoor explorers, foodies and drinkers.
At the very beginning of 2020, before anyone had ever heard of Covid we decided on a whim to order a new VW California Ocean camper van to change up how we explored our local region. The Cali was soon accessorised with a couple of Cannondale electric mountain bikes to give an alternative dimension to our walking exploits, which in hindsight should have been ordered before lock down spiked demand.
With initial enthusiasm we initially started to blog about our explorations but failed miserably to maintain our updates. Through just chatting with fellow travellers we’ve recently recognised that we have gained a broad insight that we should really try and share, so we’ve archived the old blogs, started afresh and hopefully other like minded folk can perhaps gain insight and inspiration from our adventures, both near and far.
